  7. FFD's Editing Functions

  10. During the edit mode of FFD, ie: when you're adding or modifying text you will
  11. need to know how to use the built in editor.
  12.  
  13. F1        Help (includes this list).
  14. F2        Change entries 8 character name.
  15. F3        Save entry to a DOS file.
  16. F5        Find string. Shift-F5 find next.
  17.  
  18. F7        Move line left.
  19. F8        Move line right.
  20.  
  21. CTRL-ENTER  Finish editing/Confirm if adding?
  22. ESC        Abort changes or additions?
  23.  
  24. ALT-S        Split line at cursor.
  25. ALT-R        Repeat line (duplicate).
  26. ALT-J        Join two lines.
  27. CTRL-Y        Delete line.
  28. CTRL-Bksp   Delete line.
  29. ALT-E        Erase line, blanks the whole line.
  30. ALT-K        Erase to end of line.

  32. ALT-L        Mark/Unmark line.
  33. Shft-Plus   Copies highlighted lines to a scrap file.
  34. Shft-Minus  Deletes highlighted lines to a scrap file.
  35. Shft-Insert Inserts the scrap file at the current cursor position.

  37. To create a block...
  38.     1) move cursor to start of block,
  39.     2) press ALT-L to highlight the line,
  40.     3) move cursor to end of block,
  41.     4) press Shift and Plus together (the plus on the numeric keypad).

  43. To delete a block do steps 1 to 3 as above then press Shift and Minus together.

  45. To copy a block first create the block then move cursor to where you want the
  46. copy to appear and press Shift-Insert.

  48. To move a block first delete the block then move cursor to where you want the
  49. block to be moved to and press Shift-Insert.
